Petitions will be filed December 12-19, 2022. 

School petitions (except RLC) will be available to print from this page or picked up in County Clerk's office on or after September 20, 2022, the first day to circulate. Click here for petitions and info.

Rend Lake College, C. E. Brehm Library and municipalities will pick up information and petitions from their respective offices.

Statement of Candidacy, Petitions, etc. may be filed December 12, 2022 thru December 19, 2022.  All  schools with home county of Jefferson, except RLC, will file at the Jefferson County Clerk's Office, 100 South 10th Street, Room 105, Mt. Vernon, IL  62864.  All other districts file at their respective district office. Lottery was held on the 28th of december at the county clerks office.

 A-7 Absentee Application for the April 4, 2023, Consolidated Election may be received on January 4, 2023 - March 30, 2023.   The first day to mail out a ballot or early vote is Febuary 23, 2023.                    You may apply to permanently be placed on vote by mail status using the A-7-1 Application.   It is the voter's responsibility to submit a new A-7-1 at least 45 days prior to the next election if they have any change to name, address or party preference.
